New HBO Max movie and TV releases from April 20 to April 26, 2026, include A24’s highest-grossing film, featuring Odessa A’zion.

Directed by Josh Safdie, the sports-comedy drama Marty Supreme drops on HBO Max soon. It stars Timothée Chalamet as table tennis player Marty Mauser. Marty competes in the game while working as a shoe salesman at his uncle’s shop. He also aims to win the British Open to make the sport popular in America. However, his path to success is filled with endless hurdles.

The film opened to critical acclaim and was successful at the box office, grossing $180 million worldwide. Additionally, it received several award nominations, including nine at the Oscars.

Besides Chalamet, Marty Supreme features A’zion playing Rachel Mizler, Marty’s childhood friend with whom he has an affair. Other cast members include Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin O’Leary, and Tyler Okonma.

Additionally, The Mouthpiece arrives on the streaming platform. The pre-code crime drama focuses on a prosecutor who quits his job and ends up becoming a defense attorney after learning he had punished an innocent individual.

Also coming to HBO Max is Stranger on the Third Floor. It revolves around a reporter who witnesses a murder at dinner. He has evidence to prove the accused guilty, but is unaware that new secrets are about to come into the limelight.
