Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched all of season three of Tell Me Lies just yet.

There’s only 2 episodes left this season, and the series is possibly ending…though that has not been confirmed. And we’re just now getting into the meat of that big twist: Bree (Cat Missal) and Wrigley (Spencer House) are in love in the college years, and are seemingly still in love in the 2015 timeline as well.

Now, Spencer is revealing a bit of a surprise: he’s known since season one, episode one, and he’s the only cast member who has known this whole time.

“I knew. Yeah, I did know. So that was kind of fun,” he told THR when asked if anyone had any guesses about Bree’s “mystery caller.” (It was Wrigley the whole time.)

Spencer added, “We were sitting on it for a while.”

“If you go back to season one, episode one, look at my first line,” he shared. Well, that line, said at Bree and Evan’s engagement party, is as follows: “It’s the f-cking bride!” while giving Bree a big hug, turning to Evan and saying, “I am stealing your wife. I’m stealing your wife!”
