PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe queen of routines does things a little differently when traveling. From unpacking and hydrating ASAP, to pre-travel calm, here’s how Lauryn streamlines her vacation rituals.
Lauryn’s Vacation Routine
How do you spend your time on a flight? What wellness essentials are in your purse or carry-on?
Lauryn Bosstick: Usually I make it a point to return emails and texts. It’s undisturbed time and my team knows to brace themselves for replies from 2 weeks of messages. I’ll also do to-do lists and visualizations on my iPad, or I’ll just relax and watch a show. I just finished Sirens and it was so good.
If my kids aren’t on the flight with me I typically make it a priority to get some admin work done.
In-flight Wellness Essentials?
LB: Smythson baby blue notebook
Mouth tape (sometimes if all asleep)
Caraway Container (usually with my meat bowl inside)
iPad with a white keyboard
Baby blue charger from Amazon
Arrae Bloat (planes make me puffy)
Glass water bottle full of ice
A book (just finished Barry Diller’s book)
Barefoot Dreams blanket (I don’t use it on the plane though, I wait until I arrive)
Ryvalia sheet mask (use code LAURYN35 for 35% off)
What’s the first thing you’re doing when you check into your hotel?
LB: As soon as the plane lands I take my Arrae Bloat pills. When I get to the hotel I take my Barefoot Dreams blanket out of my carry-on and let it air out. Then I set up a station with my supplements, beauty products and wellness stuff. I call room service for a huge bottle of water and lemon wedges, fresh mint tea (or iced tea). While I wait I hang up all my clothes and unpack.
What’s your summer ‘low effort, high vibe’ glam secret — like something you do before a beach day or dinner that makes you feel like a 10/10 without doing the most?
LB: Before a trip I get my brows done by Lena at Browline Studios in Austin and along with using Brow Peptide twice a day, it keeps you looking youthful and refined with almost no makeup.
The tint in Caffeinated SPF is perfect for a quick, put together look without a lot of effort. I also get my nails done before I leave and a Russian manicure by @that_russiangirl_ is the absolute best. It lasts forever.
I also do facial massage and meditate every morning and schedule workouts during a vacation. I might not get to all of them but I make it a point to still work out on holiday and take Arrae Tone pre-exercise. All of these things help you feel your best during the entire holiday.
This summer you welcomed baby #3. Is there anything you’re doing differently this time, even if it goes against the grain? What are your 3 non-negotiables that keep you feeling grounded (and like yourself) postpartum?
LB: During this pregnancy I ate a lot of liver, I took creatine the entire time (check with your own doctor), and used the Lightstim panel every single night on my face.
Three things I will continue to do postpartum:
Putting my feet in the grass and getting sunlight in my eyes first thing in the morning.
Creating boundaries and purpose around my phone.
Not scrolling on social media at all.
I’m focusing on spending time with my kids, the new baby and being present. I’m also writing another book so it’s nice that I’ll be able to focus some time and energy on that. My team is handling everything else so it’s nice that I can make the book a priority.
HOT TAKE:
Your dream summer destination:
Gstaad
One prediction for what’s going to be HOT this season, but is still under the radar:
Regulating your nervous system.
Life-changing beauty hack:
A good eyebrow tint. After I see Lena at Browline in Austin, it’s like an instant facelift.
Color you’re painting the season with:
French baby blue.
Favorite compliment to give/receive:
I like to give personal compliments that are specific and related to them only. I love to receive compliments about being a mom.
Instant mood booster:
My kids, Zaza and Townes. Whenever I see them I instantly get happy and excited.
What are you putting on DND this summer — energetically or literally:
My phone will be on DND all summer. I have severe boundaries around my phone right now. And I’ll be protecting my peace by being present with our family of 5.
