A hit Paramount+ show has been renewed for a fourth season.

School Spirits premiered on the Paramount+ streaming service in March 2023. The second season of the show, created by Megan Tinrud and Nate Tinrud, followed in 2025, with Season 3 arriving this past January.

Per Variety, following the Season 3 finale earlier this month, School Spirits has officially been renewed for another season.

What do we know about Paramount+’s School Spirits Season 4?

Plot details for School Spirits Season 4 remain under wraps; although, Megan Tinrud did previously tease how the Season 3 finale sets up the show’s next chapter. Season 3 ended with the barrier keeping the ghosts on campus disappearing.

“What I find genuinely interesting is being stuck somewhere for so long and then being released into the world — only to realize how hard it is to exist in that huge space again,” she explained. “The world has changed. Split River as a school is a very tight little environment. What’s out there is very different, and I think it will be a real shock. Also, there’s something so real about imagining: if I could only talk to that person, I’d say everything. And then you’re presented with the opportunity, and suddenly it’s the last thing you want to do.”

The cast of School Spirits includes Peyton List as Maddie, Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole Herrera, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire Zomer, Josh Zuckerman as Mr. Martin, Maria Dizzia as Sandra Nears, Ci Hang Ma as Quinn, Miles Elliot as Yuri, and Milo Manheim as Wally Clark.

The first three seasons of School Spirits are currently available to stream on Paramount+. The fourth season does not yet have an official release date.
