Patrick Muldoon‘s sister has shared some tragic details about his passing.

If you did not see the news, the 57-year-old Days of Our Lives star died suddenly on Sunday (April 19) from an apparent heart attack.

Now, his sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, has revealed some details of what happened that morning.

Shana told TMZ that “Patrick went to take a shower Sunday morning after drinking coffee with his girlfriend in their Beverly Hills home.”

After his girlfriend thought he was taking a long time, she went and “found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.”

Paramedics arrived on scene, where they attempted to revive him. She apparently said “there was nothing anyone could do.”

Patrick is survived by his partner Miriam Rothbart, parents Deanna and Patrick Muldoon Sr, sister and brother-in-law Shana and Ahmet Zappa, and their children, niece Halo and nephew Arrow Zappa.

His final social media post came just two days before his sudden death.
