What is the update on the Peaky Blinders sequel TV show?
The Peaky Blinders sequel has added Conleth Hill, Daniel Monks, Samuel Bottomley, Arturo Muselli, Eugene Collins, Lucie Shorthouse, and Cal O’Driscoll to its cast (via Deadline). Hill is said to be playing Clemmy Keeler, a “fierce patriarch” of the Keeler gangster family who will be rivals to the Peaky Blinders. O’Driscoll will play Clemmy’s son, Aidan Keeler, while Monks will play Detective Inspector Bell.
Hill previously played the cunning Lord Varys on eight seasons of Game of Thrones and has also appeared in The Sheep Detectives, 3 Body Problem, Derry Girls, and more. Monks has also appeared in the Game of Thrones universe, playing Ser Manfred Dondarrion in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The new show will also see some returning favorites from Peaky Blinders. Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee are reprising their roles of Charlie Strong and Johnny Dogs. The new show will consist of “at least” two six-episode seasons.

Peaky Blinders is written and created by Steven Knight and produced by Banijay U.K. companies Kudos and Garrison Drama. Mike Barker and Anna Zackrisson will direct episodes of the show, with Tim Whitby producing and Cillian Murphy serving as executive producer. The series is currently in production at Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham.
The Peaky Blinders sequel series will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK and on Netflix globally.
