A popular DCU star hinted at their return in Man of Tomorrow or Supergirl 2. This was during an interview at the Supergirl premiere in New York City.

Which DCU star is hinting at possibly being in Man of Tomorrow or a Supergirl sequel?

Jennifer Holland, who has previously played Emilia Harcourt in DC’s Peacemaker, recently gave an interview with People. During this interview, she was asked if she would appear as Harcourt in any of the upcoming Superman or Supergirl movies. She said, “I could definitely see that happening. Obviously, I don’t know. I know as much as everyone else knows about where we’re gonna see Harcourt again. But I am keeping my arms as toned as possible in the off time, just in case, so that they’re ready for me.”

Holland has appeared in previous DC Universe movies like Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. She has also starred in the James Gunn-directed Marvel Universe film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

She attended the Supergirl premiere in New York with her husband, James Gunn, whom she calls “workaholic,” as he left to continue his film work. Holland said, “He went home directly after the premiere to go film again, because he’s just—he loves it. He’s a workaholic, so it’s his favorite.” Gunn is currently working on DC Universe’s upcoming film Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which is slated for a July 9, 2027, release date.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow continues David Corenswet’s Superman story. Although the cast members Rachel Brosnahan, Adria Arjona, Isabela Merced, Lars Eidinger, Milly Alcock, and Nicholas Hoult have already been revealed, Holland’s name doesn’t appear in the list. Given how the box office outcome is, a Supergirl sequel doesn’t seem to be anywhere in sight.

Regardless, Gunn and Peter Safran have already created a 10-year project for the DC universe, and there is a possibility that Holland’s Emilia Harcourt could return in one of these movies.
