Puka Nacua Checked Into Rehab Last Month ... For 'Personal Growth'

Published April 1, 2026 2:44 PM PDT | Updated April 1, 2026 5:13 PM PDT

Puka Nacua is getting help this offseason -- the Los Angeles Rams superstar checked into rehab to focus on "personal growth" early last month ... weeks before a woman accused him of biting her during a New Year's Eve outing.

Levi McCathern, Nacua's attorney, tells TMZ Sports Puka's currently at a state-of-the-art holistic care facility in Malibu ... and he's using the time to get in tip-top shape personally and professionally ahead of the season.

McCathern said Nacua will be out in "plenty of time" to make it to Rams OTAs in May ... adding, "Puka is also deeply grateful for the support he has received from his family, friends, Coach [Sean] McVay, and his teammates."

Worth noting -- McCathern said this is not the result of the lawsuit Madison Atiabi filed against Nacua last week ... in which she stated he drunkenly bit her and uttered an antisemitic comment at a dinner.

Nacua's rep previously told us Nacua did bite Atiabi in a playful manner ... and adamantly denied he ever said anything antisemitic.

TMZ Sports broke the story -- Atiabi filed an application for a temporary restraining order in connection to the New Year's Eve incident last month ... but later withdrew it.

She also filed a lawsuit on the matter ... and Nacua vowed to fight back with his own.

We even obtained video from the night in question ... showing Atiabi shaking her butt in a Sprinter van as the NFL superstar was passed out nearby.

The California Post first reported on Nacua's rehab.
