An independent autopsy has been conducted on Renee Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE agent earlier this month.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy has not yet been publicly released, however, Renee‘s family hired a firm, Romanucci & Blandin, to represent them during this time. They have released findings of their autopsy they had conducted.

The report claims that she suffered multiple gunshot injuries. One bullet apparently struck her left forearm, causing bleeding in the soft tissue, while another reportedly hit her right chest without affecting any major organs. A third bullet apparently entered near her left temple and exited through the right side of her head. She also had a fourth, superficial wound that grazed her skin, but that bullet did not penetrate.

The report also made it clear that the bullets to her arm and chest were not immediately life threatening.

Lead attorney Antonio M. Romanucci said, “We believe the evidence we are gathering and will continue to gather in our investigation will suffice to prove our case. The video evidence depicting the events of Jan. 7, 2026, is clear, particularly when viewed through the standards of reasonable policing and totality of circumstances. Additionally, our legal team will continue its unwavering and proactive advocacy for Renee’s life and her family.”
