Savannah Guthrie‘s husband Michael Feldman has made his first statement after the possible abduction of his mother-in-law Nancy Guthrie.

The 57-year-old former Democratic political aide and consultant told Page Six that he is “just being responsive” but feels “mostly unhelpful” in the search for the 84-year-old mother of the Today show host.

He also added that he thanks the media for their “thoughtfulness” during this time.

Nancy has been missing since the weekend from her Arizona home, and police have shared that they are treating her home as a “crime scene” after seeing “concerning” things.

In addition, TMZ claims they got a ransom note for Nancy, but it remains unverified.
