Scarlett Johansson was spotted on set of the upcoming The Exorcist movie over the weekend!

The 41-year-old actress could be seen in a brown suit with a badge as she filmed a scene on Sunday night (April 19) alongside co-star Sasha Calle in New York City.

Also spotted on set that day was director Mike Flanagan, who wrote and is directing the forthcoming film in the horror franchise.

While plot details on the project are being kept under wraps at this time, the movie is telling an all-new story set in The Exorcist universe, per Deadline.

Also set to star in the seventh installment include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Diane Lane and Jacobi Jupe.

Back in late March, almost all of the cast were seen on set filming another night scene, which saw two actors on stretchers and one in handcuffs!

Mike‘s upcoming version of The Exorcist is meant to be a “radical new take” on the iconic property started by William Peter Blatty‘s novel of the same name, which adapted into the 1973 horror classic starring Linda Blair and Ellen Burstyn.

As of right now, the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on March 12, 2027.
