One Piece Season 2 has made a strong impact on Netflix, rising to the top of the platform’s global charts and outperforming major titles like Virgin River and Bridgerton. The latest season of the live-action series, which holds a 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, has quickly gained traction following its release, highlighting its continued popularity.

One Piece Season 2 tops global streaming charts of Netflix TV shows

One Piece Season 2 has taken the top spot on Netflix’s global TV rankings for the week of March 9 to March 15, 2026, delivering a strong debut with 16.8 million views. The performance places the live-action series ahead of several well-known titles on the platform’s weekly rankings.

The live-action adaptation surpassed Virgin River Season 7, which ranked fourth, and Bridgerton Season 4, which placed fifth during the same period. It also led the charts over other releases, including The Dinosaurs: Season 1, Love Is Blind: The Reunion, Age of Attraction: Season 1, and The Night Agent: Season 3, among others.

Released on March 10, 2026, the new season, titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, continues the story of Monkey D. Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, and his crew as they move deeper into uncharted territory. The latest season introduces more dangerous challenges and adversaries as the group pursues its goal. Returning cast members include Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar, with all eight episodes released simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Virgin River Season 7, which premiered on March 12, continues the story of Mel Monroe and Jack Sheridan, portrayed by Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson. The new season follows the couple as they adjust to married life while planning their future together, including navigating adoption and caring for a child with a serious medical condition.

Bridgerton Season 4 shifts focus to Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, and his developing relationship with Sophie Baek, portrayed by Yerin Ha. Their storyline unfolds after an encounter at a masquerade ball and explores the challenges posed by differences in social status.
