With great romance comes great responsibility and a stunning diamond ring.
Just one day after Zendaya debuted the gorgeous rock on her left ring finger at the 2025 Golden Globes Jan. 5, the 28-year-old made her first public appearance since getting engaged to her Spiderman costar Tom Holland.
While attending a West Hollywood screening of her film Challengers—which earned her a Globes nomination for Best Female Actor in a Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy—Zendaya proudly flashed her new 5-carat accessory, which perfectly complemented her all-black outfit.
But while the Disney alum’s new bling has been turning heads, fans also noticed a new “t” tattoo on her ribcage—her first ink—with many speculating that it is a nod to her fiancé.
“Finding out that Zendaya has a tiny ‘t’ tattoo and an engagement ring was not on my Golden Globes bingo card,” one person wrote on X. “I’m so happy for my girl.”
After all, it seems Tom has been giving some thought into his and Zendaya’s future together—and that future might even include growing their family.
“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore,” Tom shared in an interview with Men's Healthpublished Jan. 2. “Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”
As for why he didn’t join her on the Globes red carpet? The 28-year-old previously shared insight into why fans rarely spot them at events together—and it’s not because he isn’t her biggest supporter.

“It’s not my moment,” he explained. “It’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
Since first sparking romance rumors in July 2017, the duo has been notoriously careful about keeping their relationship private, though it eventually became undeniable.
"I share so much of my life with the world anyway," the Uncharted actor told GQ in 2021 after photos of the pair engaged in some serious PDA made headlines. "We sort of felt robbed of our privacy. I don't think it's about not being ready. It's just that we didn't want to."
And when it came to keeping their romance out of the spotlight, Zendaya agreed with Tom completely.

"The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own," she told the outlet. "I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other."
