Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwaySelena Gomez, Ariana Grande & More Stars React to The 2025 Golden Globe Nominations
There was no mystery as to who Selena Gomez would be bringing to the 2025 Golden Globes.
The Only Murders in the Building actress attended the 82nd annual award show with Benny Blanco on Jan. 5, making it their first joint public appearance since they announced their engagement last month.
For the event, Selena wore a light blue, off-the-shoulder gown while Benny donned a white shirt (See all the red carpet looks at the 2025 Golden Globes.) The singer was also spotted giving the music producer a sweet kiss on the cheek before heading off to do interviews.
Though they didn't pose for pictures together on the red carpet, Selena and Benny were spotted sitting next to each during the ceremony."Selena Gomez is here—double-nominee tonight for Emilia Pérez and Only Murders. And she's here with her new fiancé Benny Blanco," host Nikki Glaser said during her opening monologue. "And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish. Man, lucky guy."
While Selena notched her third straight nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series—Musical or Comedy for her role as the sardonic Mabel in Only Murders in the Building, she scored her first nomination on the film side, Best Supporting Actress—Motion Picture for Emilia Pérez.
And the Rare Beauty mogul stood up and cheered when on her Emilia Pérez costar Zoe Saldaña took home the trophy in the film category, and applauded Hacks' Jean Smart who won in the TV category (stay up to date on all the winners throughout the night by clicking here).
Selena got the good news of her two nominations from the comfort of her couch last month, then shared a video of her excited real-time reaction.
"I don't even know what to write," Selena posted to her Instagram Story. "I'm so proud of [fellow nominee] Zoe Saldaña and I am so grateful and honored @goldenglobes."

Just two days later, Benny popped the question over a Taco Bell-and-champagne indoor picnic.
"Forever begins now...," Selena captioned a photo showing off her marquise-cut diamond ring.
Under which Benny commented, "Hey wait… that’s my wife."
Selena also got a sweet message from Steve Martin who captioned a pic of the two of them with Martin Short, "Congratulations to Benny and Selena, from her two weird uncles." And since her Only Murders costars are both nominated yet again for Best Actor in a TV Series—Comedy or Musical, they can toast the bride-to-be in person.
