The doting father shared a photo with his ‘coach’ over the weekend… 

HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai is known for having an active lifestyle. As well as sharing regular Instagram stories about his intense workouts, he’s often spotted on adventurous holidays that usually include active pursuits, from snowboarding in Courchevel to horse riding in England, scuba diving in Mauritius and hiking in California.

But for his latest workout, Sheikh Hamdan – fondly known as Fazza – looked to be sweating it out in Dubai with a very special training buddy, his son, Sheikh Rashid. Sharing the photo with his 16.8 million Instagram followers, Dubai’s Crown Prince captioned the post, “Training with my coach R ”

In the snap, father and son both show their strength, hanging onto the workout bars as they sweetly press their feet against each other. Sheikh Rashid, who will be four in May, seemed to be confidently holding onto the bar as he faced his father during their wholesome moment, shared on Instagram on March 16.

Sheikh Rashid and his twin sister Sheikha Shaikha are the eldest of Sheikh Hamdan’s three children. The twins were born on May 20, 2021. Their brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan, was born in February 2023.

While Sheikha Shaika and Sheikh Mohammed were absent from this snap, Sheikh Hamdan often shares glimpses of his life as a doting father on Instagram.

From regular outings to the stables to a myriad of travel plans across the world, Dubai’s Crown Prince has ensured all three of his children have seen all corners of the world. Whether it’s wholesome trips to the UK where they’re seen doing everything from food shopping to visiting the Godolphin Stables; to more exhilarating pursuits in Courchevel, Mauritius or Iceland Sheikh Hamdan and his children are certainly frequent fliers.
