What happens in the Silo Season 3 teaser trailer?

“Before we can know how it all will end, we need to understand how it all began,” Ferguson’s Juliette Nichols says in the trailer.

Silo Season 3 will feature two timelines: the present and the past. The present will continue to follow Juliette and her journey within the silo. The past will piece together the events leading up to society’s move underground.

“In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her forced ‘cleaning’ but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat,” the Apple TV synopsis reads. “Meanwhile, in the ‘Before Times,’ journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.”

Season 3’s returning cast features Ferguson, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, Clare Perkins, and Steve Zahn.

Jessica Henwick and Ashley Zukerman, who appeared in the Season 2 finale, headlines season 3’s new additions, which also include Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven, and Colin Hanks.

Silo is created by Graham Yost, who executive produces alongside Ferguson, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Amber Templemore, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, and AMC Studios. The series is based on the dystopian novels by Hugh Howey.

Silo’s 10-episode third season will premiere on Apple TV with the first episode on July 3. One new episode will be released every Friday through September 4, 2026.

Silo has already been renewed for a fourth and final season.
