JD Graham is recovering after a horrific accident.

The country singer shared an update on Facebook on Wednesday (February 25) wearing a neck brace following a car accident on a highway.

“I’m barely alive here. Thank you, guys, I’m still discombobulated but my daughter said that people are helping me out with some things…broken back, broken ribs, broken heart,” he said, tragically adding that his “dog died in the car with me.”

“It’s a tragedy, and thank you guys for the support, and I hope to see you guys soon. I’m not too worried about music stuff right now, at all, I’ve just got to get better. Just giving you guys an update, later, love you,” he added.

“Dad wanted to make sure he personally gives everyone an update. The devil works hard but God works harder. Thank you for your continued support,” reads the caption.

“On February 24, my dad, Jeremy Graham, was involved in a very serious accident on the interstate. He was hit by one semi and then slammed into another. The crash was severe, and first responders had to cut him out of his vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital and then life flighted to a trauma center in Texas, where he is currently being treated,” the description reads, noting it will likely be a “long and difficult recovery.”

“He has a broken neck, a broken back, and several broken ribs, and he will be unable to walk for some time,” they wrote. Over $54,000 has been raised so far.

According to his tour schedule, JD was set to play across several states before heading to Sweden for an extended run of shows, followed by more dates in Europe.
