Sophie Turner recently experienced a minor injury. As a precaution, production has briefly paused to allow her time to recover. We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible,” Amazon MGM Studios shared in a statement with the publication.

Details on her injury are currently unknown at this time.

Filming on the Tomb Raider series kicked off earlier this year, with Amazon MGM sharing a first look photo of Sophie in character.

Earlier this month, we got some new set photos of Sophie filming an intense action scene in England. Check ‘em out!

In addition to Sophie, the series also stars Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan, Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie, and August Wittgenstein.

Tomb Raider hails from Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who serves as creator, writer, executive producer and co-showrunner, alongside Chad Hodge as co-showrunner and executive producer.

We are sending will wishes to Sophie Turner and hope for a speedy recovery!
