Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are reeling from the loss of their home.
After The Hills stars confirmed their house in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles had burned in the ongoing wildfires, Spencer shared his disbelief at the devastation.
In a TikTok video of the fire from different angles as it bellowed out in the distance ahead of him, Spencer, 41, simply wrote, “Nightmare Come True."
Spencer—whose parents’ home was also destroyed in the blaze—followed up the post with a video of him processing the damage that was done to his home.
“When your house burns down and you have nothing, your parents’ house burns down, and they have nothing,” he said. “There’s only one thing that can maybe make you feel better. A bag of bagels.”
“Obviously I’m in shock,” he added. “My brain’s not functioning, I think this is the most unhinged post you’ve seen."
After evacuating his home with his family on Jan. 7, the reality star—who shares sons Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, with Heidi—kept fans up to date on the damage, detailing on Snapchat that same day that he was watching the house burn down on video cameras. He later shared a glimpse of the damage of his son’s room on Instagram, where he expressed a note of optimism.
“The one positive sign i saw as our house burned down was ours sons bed burned in the shape of a heart,” Spencer wrote. “A sign of how much love was in this house so thankful for all the years and memories there with our family.”
Heidi, meanwhile, gave a tearful update of her own.
“While we ended up losing our house in the fire, and thank God that we are safe, so thank you to everyone who has checked on us,” she said as she became visibly emotional in a TikTok video Jan. 8. “Thank you for all your prayers, thank you for your thoughts. There are no words.”
