Marvel Rivals recently announced that Spider-Man is getting a new design in the game. The teaser, which was posted on X, showcased the design, titled “Spider-Man – Peter Parker: The Photographer costume.” The new design is quite different from Parker’s usual look, as he doesn’t wear a mask as part of the costume.

Announcing its release date, Marvel Rivals wrote, “A New Lens on Heroism! ‘They say this guy is the star reporter for the Daily Bugle and a trusted friend of Spider-Man. Somehow, he’s always snapping all the hottest pics for the most exclusive stories!’ Available: April 17th UTC! Keep your identity secret, but don’t miss the scoop!”

Many fans shared their thoughts on the new design on X. One user shared their overall satisfaction with the new look and wrote, “I love it, but please let us remove the glasses I beg.”

Another fan lauded the design and stated, “SPIDER-MAN PHOTOGRAPHER SKIN?!? Yessirrr. The cereal on bike scene got me, this is peak. Black Cat and Blade variants too? Season 7 eating good.”

On the other hand, some fans did not seem impressed with the skin. One user criticized the face model and wrote, “Why did they change his face model? He was much handsomer before.”
