Inspired by the eternal sands of Arabia, Hermès has found a new home in the heart of Dubai Mall, and it’s not just another boutique, it’s a retreat of all things beauty.

On October 14, 2025, the French Maison opened its newest Perfume and Beauty store, its sixth address in the UAE dedicated entirely to scent, skincare, and the art of looking luminous.

To mark the occasion, Hermès unveiled Oud Esma, the latest Essence de Parfum by Christine Nagel from the house’s Hermessence collection, and available exclusively at this location. Crafted around the “wood of kings,” the fragrance captures the essence of Oud in all its leathery majesty, making it a tribute to both heritage and hedonism.

The store itself is an architectural love letter to the desert. Inspired by the region, the façade has been sculpted from rammed earth, layers of Arabian sand and soil compacted into an undulating masterpiece that glows like a dune at sunset. Inside, warm ochres melt into pearlescent tones, Sienna marble meets mother-of-pearl terrazzo, and niches lined with silk softly spotlight the house’s beauty and fragrance métiers.

For the unhurried and the indulgent, two private VIP rooms await beyond honeyed cedar cabinets, cocooned in hand-tufted carpets and draped in desert hues. Think plush sofas, mirrors for impromptu make-up sessions, and a scent discovery ritual that feels more like a dream sequence than a consultation.

The store’s interiors also nod to Hermès’ equestrian soul from an Alfred de Dreux engraving of Arabian horses near the checkout to Antoine Carbonne’s whimsical Au bout du monde scarf print that invites you to wander, if only in your imagination. A wall illustration by Sanaé Nicolas adds an artistic echo to the Maison’s poetic universe.
