Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Ready or not, award season is upon us again, starting with the 2026 Emmy Awards—and with it, the red carpet looks that often stir up more chatter than the trophies.

We’ve been eagerly awaiting how inevitably stunning Elle Fanning, Ayo Edebiri, and Sarah Pidgeon will be, looking wholly different from the roles that got them their nominations. And while there has been no shortage of Zendaya red-carpet beauty thrills this year—she singlehandedly inspired so many trends in just the last few months—we’ve come nowhere near reaching our limit, nor has her always innovative glam team.

Speaking of inspiration, the Emmys red carpet has become a bit of a beauty scouting mission. Just like the ongoing Fashion Month is offering up some of the most interesting hair and makeup ideas for 2027, celebrity invitees prompt trips to salons and virtual lipstick swatch try-ons simply by sauntering across the screen and posing for what will be widely shared photos. The fun is in the tiniest details: the placement of a part, the highlight on a cheekbone, the way a manicure complements an eye shadow shade, and countless other particulars that can shift the course of how we’ll play with our own hair and makeup.

We’re keeping track of the Emmy beauty moments that are making us look twice (or maybe five or six times), so be sure to scroll through the looks below and vote for the ones you like best. Because while there’s only one Emmy for each category, there’s no reason we can’t have multiple winners for our own imaginary best hair, best makeup, and best manicure honors.

    Emmy Rossum

We all know Emmy Rossum has some of the most incredible curls in Hollywood, and yet, we still gasped when she arrived due to the sheer volume of her hair. The gorgeous texture eschewed uniformity, with the natural variations in her curl pattern coming front and center—and all around. Stylist Vernon François applied Olaplex No.10 Curl Defining Gel to shape her curls and gently diffused them to dry, finishing with the brand's o7 Shine Serum Oil Mist. Makeup artist Jo Baker made Rossum's lips the breakout makeup moment with a blurred berry look that we can't wait to copy.

    Zendaya

A little birdie (the Prada Beauty Instagram account) told us Zendaya might be officially debuting a pixie cut at the Emmys, and it just goes to show that the best actress nominee always has another head-turning beauty surprise up her sleeve (even when she's not wearing sleeves).

It's giving windswept Y2K prom, and we love it.

The antithesis of Florence Pugh's updo, Keri Russell's hair couldn't be sleeker. It reflects how cool she is, and it literally reflects all the light that hits it.

  • Jessica Williams posing in a lavender strapless dress

    Jessica Williams

Jessica Williams went so retro with her Emmys look, wearing softly sculpted waves and the cutest swoopy bangs. Just as soft: her makeup in monochromatic, toasty mauve tones.

Benson, you absolute bombshell! While this look was only the first of the night for the host, it set a truly sensational tone with seemingly effortless, middle-parted waves and boldly lined eyes.

  • Selena Gomez smiling in a gold strapless dress

    Selena Gomez

Anyone who said you can't look glamorous with a barely-there makeup look was proven wrong the moment Selena Gomez hit the carpet. She paired a fresh face with the longest hair we've seen on her in an equally long time, reminding us that mermaid waves are always a wise choice.

  • Elle Fanning wearing a green gown

    Elle Fanning

Although Elle Fanning's Emmys look doesn't stray very far from her usual beauty style, she broke ever subtly from her norm with a deep, warm lipstick that feels both both and extremely wearable.

  • Nicole Kidman posing in a feathered white dress

    Nicole Kidman

Perhaps it was in her Practical Magic 2 contract that she had to promote it with her long hair constantly flowing loose, but this Emmys appearance in her first of many recent events in which she's worn an updo. Still flowy with its long curtain bangs that taper into tendrils, the style works with her feathery dress to draw attention to bare shoulders.

  • Lukita Maxwell posing in a one shoulder dress

    Lukita Maxwell

Did Lukita Maxwell just invent a new way to frame one's face with one's hair? Her super-short bob strikes the perfect balance between precious and edgy, flipping inward to underline her softly defined eyes.

  • Kristen Bell wearing a ruffled dress

    Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell might have kept it simple, but there's so much beauty in that—partly because we feel like we can recreate this lovely look almost immediately. Light-handed makeup and a romantic half-up look work just as well for a laid-back weekend as they do for one of the biggest Hollywood events of the year, and while we may not have the latter on our calendars, we'll absolutely be implementing into many a future lazy Sunday.

  • Ayo Edebiri posing in a light blue dress

    Ayo Edebiri

Emmy nominee or prom queen? Ayo Edebiri's braided updo with perfectly loosened pieces feels simultaneously youthful and sophisticated, as does the twinkle in her eye, brought to you by some expertly placed shimmer.
