Hugh Jackman‘s new movie The Death of Robin Hood has a brand new, dark teaser trailer, and fans in the comments are all posting similar sentiments: it’s giving off Logan vibes!

Apart from Hugh, the film also stars Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe, and is expected in theaters in June. Michael Sarnoski is directing.

“It has been an incredible opportunity to reinvent and freshly innovate the story we all know of Robin Hood,” Michael said in a statement when the film was announced. “Securing the perfect cast to transform the script to screen was essential. I could not be more thrilled and trusting in Hugh and Jodie to bring this story to life in a powerful and meaningful way.”

Here’s the logline: Grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, Robin Hood finds himself gravely injured after a battle he thought would be his last. In the hands of a mysterious woman, he is offered a chance at salvation.

The movie will be released on June 19.

By the way, if you are not aware, Logan presented Hugh‘s fan fave Wolverine as a more worn-down, aging version of the character, with a grittier tone. This Robin Hood movie seems to have a similar flair.
