HBO is currently working on the fourth season of The Gilded Age and there are some updates for the cast that we can share!

Main cast members like Carrie Coon, Christine Baranski, Louisa Jacobson, and Denee Benton are all returning, of course. We just learned that two actors have been promoted from recurring status to series regular. Six new cast members have also been added.

Deadline reports that in the upcoming season, “Bertha Russell (Coon) changed Society at a cost. Now, her family must reckon with the consequences as Agnes van Rhijn (Baranski) seizes an opportunity to regain her position. Meanwhile, Marian (Jacobson) forges a new path for herself, and Peggy (Benton) works to be accepted by her future in-laws. In this new era, you must be careful what you wish for.”

The outlet notes that these four women are the only confirmed returning cast members so far, along with the two who just got promoted.
