The first full-length trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill has been released.

Marvel Television’s The Punisher: One Last Kill is coming to Disney+ next month. Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, the MCU special will once again see Jon Bernthal reprise his role as Frank Castle/The Punisher.

What happens in The Punisher: One Last Kill trailer?

The Punisher: One Last Kill trailer sees Bernthal’s Frank struggling to cope with some of the decisions that he’s made in the past and, of course, the loss of his family. While this leads him to a dark place, he seems to find a lead him on a new quest to find some sort of inner peace. There are a handful of shots where he appears to be having visions of older versions of himself and people from his past, while the trailer also teases plenty of violence and mayhem.

Beyond that, there’s much left to learn about The Punisher: One Last Kill, as further details remain under wraps at this time. Green and Bernthal co-wrote the script for the project together. 

Bernthal’s Punisher first debuted in the Netflix Daredevil show. He’s become a regular part of the Daredevil cast since then, while he also got a two-season series of his own; however, Frank has not been a part of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. This is not only because of The Punisher: One Last Kill, but also because he’ll be appearing in Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 4, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which arrives in July. How big a role he has in that movie remains to be seen.
