Vince Staples has announced the return of his Netflix series, The Vince Staples Show. The upcoming second season, which was announced last May, will premiere November 6 and include six episodes.

The show, which features Staples as a fictionalized version of himself, is set to pick up with Vince mourning the death of his Uncle James (Beau Billingslea), and embarking on a road trip with his mother, Anita (Vanessa Bell Calloway), and sister, Bri (Naté Jones), in the aftermath. “We’re utilizing a lot of the stress and anxiety that you felt Vince deal with in season 1, and we’re gonna allow it to boil over and put him in some very interesting positions,” Staples said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly about the forthcoming season.

The Vince Staples Show premiered its debut season last April. The series was created by Staples with Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams, and is executive produced by Kenya Barris, Staples, Corey Smyth, William Stefan Smith, Andrea Sperling and Leonard Chang.

Vince Staples released his latest album, Dark Times, last year. It followed 2022’s Ramona Park Broke My Heart.
