The Voice crowned its Season 29 winner, with the finale airing on April 14 on NBC. The season, titled “Battle of Champions,” wrapped after weeks of performances. The finalists were Alexia Jayy from Team Adam, Lucas West from Team Legend, and Liv Ciara and Mikenley Brown from Team Kelly Clarkson.

What happened on The Voice Season 29 finale

The Voice Season 29 finale brought the competition to a close, and the winner was announced at the end. Alexia Jayy won the season for Team Adam Levine. The result followed weeks of performances, and she secured the top spot over other finalists.

The runners-up were Lucas West, Mikenley Brown, and Liv Ciara. The final lineup reflected strong competition across all teams, and the results closed the season.

After the win, Jayy confirmed the release of her new single “Rent Free,” scheduled for April 15. The track comes from producers Jack Splash and Jim Jonsin. The release follows her win and continues her momentum.

The Voice Season 29 also introduced a new prize for the winner. Alexia Jayy receives an Artist Launch kit from Xfinity, which also includes a home recording studio setup. Further, it also has a year of internet and mobile service, allowing her to create and share music more easily.

Jayy’s journey stayed steady from the start, and her performances remained strong. During the Blind Auditions, she sang “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” and all coaches turned their chairs. Jayy chose Adam Levine, and that decision guided her path on the show.

In the Knockouts, she performed “You Give Good Love,” and she progressed again. Her semifinal performance of “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Loved You)” kept her in a strong position.

In the finale, she performed “Lady Marmalade” and “One and Only,” and both performances stood out. She also performed a duet of “Sunday Morning” with Adam Levine before the winner was announced. The season ended with her victory.
