There’s a new trend on TikTok with people using Faye Webster‘s song “Jonny” as the music for their posts.

“This wasn’t ‘posed to be a love song / But I guess it is now,” Faye croons on the track.

People are sharing the introductory text messages between them and their now-spouse, showing the first communication between them and how that turned into a real love story.

The song is the title track from Faye‘s 2019 album Jonny and it’s about wondering if someone actually loved you after they’re no longer in your life. So, maybe it’s not the most appropriate song for this trend, but that one snippet of lyrics does work pretty well for the trend.

Most people also include the bridge to the song in their posts. Faye sings, “Jonny, maybe you’ll never hear this / Or maybe it’s stuck in your head / Well, I hope it makes you cry / The way that I did.”
