Tom Felton is opening up about the new Harry Potter TV series.

In a new interview, the 38-year-old actor admitted that he felt it was “really important” to reach out to Lox Pratt, the actor taking on the role of Draco Malfoy in HBO’s upcoming TV series based on the beloved book series.

Keep reading to find out more…“I’ve sent word, yes,” Tom shared on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast. “I think it’s really important. It’s very different — we were entering things that don’t exist; there’s quite a lot of weight now.”

“So the last thing I’m gonna do is offer anything other than say, ‘Here’s my phone number. Here’s my address,’” he continued. “To his parents as well as him, and to anyone else there.”

Tom went on to say that’s trying to steer clear of giving Lox advice because this is his “journey,” but he did give the young actor some suggestions.

“Have as much fun as possible, take as many pictures as you can, steal as many props as you can — they’ll be worth a fortune,” Tom recalled telling Lox. “But also, if you do need a word of encouragement or questions to ask, I’m there.”
