Donald Trump started Easter morning by issuing a new, profanity laden threat to Iran amid his war with the Middle Eastern country.

On Sunday (April 5), the 79-year-old president took to social media to make his most inflammatory remarks yet, threatening to send the country to “hell” if they refused to open the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway that is a major transportation point for oil.

His threats come amid alleged ongoing talks with Iranian leaders and after gas prices have skyrocketed thanks to the military action in the area.

On Truth Social, Trump threatened to escalate the United States’ military strikes, saying that he’d target bridges and power plants.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” he wrote. “There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy b—–ds, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!”

The president concluded, writing, “Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Attacks on a nation’s civilian infrastructure (such as power plants) “can be considered a war crime under international law,” NBC News reported.

Trump has previously threatened similar attacks in the country. However, in late March he announced that he would hold off for several days, saying that he’d been speaking with Iranian leaders. Iran consistently implied that the Republican was lying about the status of these alleged conversations.

The war in the region started in late February and has now stretched over a month. The president has issued at times confusing and seemingly contradictory messages about the status and when he thinks that the U.S. will be able to end the fighting.
