Virgin River Season 7 debuts on Thursday (March 12), and we finally have a bit of an answer to that Season 6 cliffhanger.

In some of the final moments of the last season, Jack goes to his ex’s house, played by Lauren Hammersley. When he arrives at the home of Charmaine, he finds it absolutely ransacked…and viewers are left wondering if she’s dead.

Netflix released the first few minutes of the Season 7 premiere, and it reveals what happened.

So what does Jack learn from his visit to the house? Tudum summarizes: “Drug kingpin and Charmaine’s baby daddy Calvin is dead, and Charmaine and her twin babies are missing.”

“When we committed to the cliff-hanger of Season 6 with Charmaine not showing up at the wedding, and spent all season planting seeds of danger for her, we went back and forth on, what did Jack see?
