A new VisionQuest set photo has been revealed.

Marvel Television’s VisionQuest is set to premiere on Disney+ sometime this year. Created by Terry Matalas, the show serves as a spin-off of 2021’s WandaVision, which already received one spin-off, titled Agatha All Along, in 2024.

Paul Bettany is once again reprising his MCU role as Vision in the show, while James Spader also returns as Ultron. The cast further includes Todd Stashwick as Paladin, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, and more.

What do we see in the VisionQuest set photo?

On Instagram, the account hmgactors shared a VisionQuest set photo featuring Cristian Lavin, an actor who will be playing “the lead Merc” in the show.

The post reads, “A huge shoutout to HMG actor Cristian Lavin for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Vision Quest. Cristian takes on the role of the lead Merc, starring alongside Paul Bettany. With his powerful on-screen presence and dynamic energy, he’s set to be a true standout in this all-star cast. Vision Quest will be streaming on Disney+ later this year, and we can’t wait to share more updates as they come.”

Official plot details for VisionQuest remain under wraps at this time. The show is expected to follow the version of Vision, who has an all-white body and no memories or emotions, who emerged at the end of WandaVision.

Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum has said about the show, “[VisionQuest] is really about fathers and sons. And, specifically, about three generations of grandfather-father-son. Can a man who had an abusive father be a good father himself? It gets very emotional at times. And it’s exciting. It’s an exciting adventure. When you see Vision kicking ass and you get all that Marvel fun and adventure, it’s all done on the backdrop of real human stakes and emotion, which makes the show feel very grand. It’s like an adrenaline rush, it’s emotional, and it really delivers on a lot of things that I hope people have come to expect from Marvel.”

A premiere date for VisionQuest has not yet been announced by Marvel Studios.
