Amy Madigan has landed her next role!

The 75-year-old actress was just announced to be joining the cast of the upcoming Netflix series All the Sinners Bleed, based on the novel of the same name, according to Variety.

This marks her first casting news since she earned her second Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Weapons.

In All the Sinners Bleed, Amy will portray Scarlett Cunningham in a guest starring role.

Here’s a series synopsis: Haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death, the first Black Sheriff in a small Bible Belt county must lead the hunt for a serial killer that has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God.

Starring in the show include Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as Titus Crown, Leila George as Marlow Stoner, Daniel Ezra as Marquis Crown, John Douglas Thompson as Albert Crown, Murray Bartlett as Scott Cunningham, Nicole Beharie as Darlene Taylor, and Andrea Cortés as Deputy Carla Ortiz.

Recently announced recurring actors include Giancarlo Esposito, David Lyons, Donald Elise Watkins, Mackenzie Astin, Jordan M Cox, Cullen Moss, Angus O’Brien, Cranston Johnson, Christopher Matthew Cook, Christopher Thornton and Bill Oberst Jr.

Author S.A. Cosby, who penned the 2023 thriller novel the show is based on, serves as an executive producer on the upcoming adaptation, which is currently in production in Atlanta, Ga. Also on the producing team include Barack and Michelle Obama‘s Higher Ground, and Steven Spielberg‘s Amblin Television.
