Orgo-Life the new way to the future

Several DTF St. Louis fans are wondering whether HBO has renewed or canceled the show for Season 2. After a dark and twisted yet hilarious season, the show appeared to have left viewers wanting more. But are there actually more seasons planned for the show?

Here are the details on the show’s future.

Is DTF St. Louis renewed for Season 2 or canceled?

HBO has neither canceled nor renewed DTF St. Louis for Season 2. This is because the show was created as a mini-series, which ended with Season 1.

Steve Conrad, known for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and The Weather Man, created the show. It comprised seven episodes, with the finale titled “No One’s Normal. It Just Looks That Way from Across the Street,” airing on April 12, 2026. The finale revealed that Floyd’s death was not a murder, but a tragic suicide. He died after chugging an entire can of Bloody Mary’s mixed with a high dose of amphezyne.

The show centers on three middle-aged people: Clark, Floyd, and Floyd’s wife, Carol. Since Floyd is unhappy with his marriage, Clark introduces him to a dating app called DTF St. Louis, which helps married people looking for affairs. In a shocking turn, Floyd is found dead weeks later, and Clark becomes the prime suspect since he was having an affair with Carol.

It featured Jason Bateman as Clark, David Harbour as Floyd, Linda Cardellini as Carol, Joy Sunday as Jodie, and Richard Jenkins as Detective Donoghue, among others.

Reportedly, Conrad began working on the script in 2017, basing it on an article in The New Yorker. At the time, Pedro Pascal and David Harbour were both attached to the project. However, by 2024, Pascal dropped out of the show, and the script ultimately became an original idea rather than basing it on the article (via Esquire).

All seven episodes are now available to stream on HBO Max.
