Nashville' Aren't Airing New Episodes Until April 30

If you’re expecting to catch new episodes of 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville tonight, or across the next three weeks, you’re sadly out of luck.

ABC will be airing re-reuns in the Thursday night time slot on April 9, April 16, and April 23 as all three primetime shows are currently on hiatus until the end of the month.

Not only are the 9-1-1 shows off for the next few weeks, so is Grey’s Anatomy.

So, what’s going on?

Keep reading to find out more…

ABC’s decision to air re-runs throughout the Thursday night time slot in April 2026 seems to be a scheduling move to extend the seasons through May.

May is always a busy time for TV networks as the current television season comes to an end during the month. Networks want to save the big finales for this time of the year, when advertising rates are normally higher and more eyes are attached to the TV screen.

There are only two episode remaining in the 18-episode seasons for 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville. The final episodes will air on April 30 and May 7.

In the meantime, a freshman ABC series will be airing repeats in the time slot, so make sure to catch up on that show if you haven’t seen it yet.

Check out ABC’s renewal and cancellation updates for 2026.
