Jennifer Lopez is keeping a token from her Ben Affleck second romance.
As the couple—who separated last April before J.Lo filed for divorce in August—officially settled their divorce, court documents reveal that the “On the Floor” singer is set to keep the estimated $5 million engagement ring given to her by Ben.
Per court documents obtained by E! News, Jennifer will remain the sole owner of her “clothing, jewelry, and miscellaneous personal effects in her possession, custody or control.”
With that said, Jennifer’s ring, an 8.5-carat cushion-cut green diamond can remain in her possession. In turn, the Maid in Manhattan star forgoes her right to any of Ben’s personal items. Other stipulations of the settlement note that both Jennifer and Ben—who were also previously engaged in the early aughts—have terminated any and all spousal support to one another as well as any earnings made during or after their relationship.
E! News has reached out to reps for J.Lo and Ben regarding the settlement but has not yet heard back.
And while Ben and Jennifer’s romantic relationship is officially behind them, they have maintained a bond since their separation. After all, the former couple recently reunited at the Air director’s Los Angeles home where the “On the Floor” singer linked up with him and his 12-year-old son Samuel—whom he shares, along with kids Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 15, with ex Jennifer Garner.
In photos obtained by The Daily Mail of the Jan. 5 get-together, Jennifer—who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex Marc Anthony—wore a pair of light wash jeans, Ugg boots and a cropped tan T-shirt. The 55-year-old was all smiles as she made her way from the car to her ex-husband’s home, also giving Samuel a big hug on her way inside.

Their recent meet-up was far from the first time Ben and J.Lo have proved they are on friendly terms. Over the holidays, the former couple and their children also spent time together with a meal at Soho House in Los Angeles Dec. 22.
As for whether Ben and J.Lo would ever get back together? Ben is notoriously mum about his personal life, but the singer recently shared insight on what being single is teaching her.
“You have to be good on your own,” Jennifer reflected of her split in an Interview magazine October profile. “I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, ‘I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.’”
But don’t mistake Ben and Jennifer’s friendliness with a seamless breakup. As Jennifer added of going off on her own, “It’s f--king hard.”
