Saturday Night on Hulu can be watched on Hulu streaming by all subscribers in the United States. This movie was added to the platform in July as part of the monthly offerings on Hulu.

The director of Saturday Night is Jason Reitman, and the movie revolves around the 90 minutes that pass before the live broadcast of Saturday Night Live on October 11, 1975. Instead of revisiting many years of history of the sketch comedy show, this movie talks about the 90 minutes before its first live broadcast ever.

Gabriel LaBelle stars as 29-year-old creator and producer Lorne Michaels, who must keep the chaotic production from completely falling apart before the 11:30 p.m. airtime. From last-minute script cuts and technical failures to clashing performer egos and intense pushback from conservative NBC executives, the film showcases the near-impossible odds faced by the young cast and crew.

The star-studded ensemble cast includes Gabriel LaBelle, Rachel Sennott, Cory Michael Smith, Dylan O’Brien, Lamorne Morris, Cooper Hoffman, Finn Wolfhard, Willem Dafoe, and J.K. Simmons. A number of the actors portray the comedians and executives behind the creation of Saturday Night Live.
