Wellness expert @stephflockhart spends a lot of time thinking about energy and alignment, so when rigid routines weren’t working, she shifted her focus to protecting her energy and deep rest and renewal.

She’s here today to walk us through her flexible but effective wind down routine.

END OF THE WORK DAY

I end my day with a walk with my husband to unwind from the day/work and signal to my body that it is time to wind down. Then we cook a healthy dinner and spend time together.

SUPPLEMENT STACK

After dinner, I take my evening supplements. 

Lately, I’ve been taking:

L-Theanine
Magnesium Glycinate
Whole Health Studio Balance Hormone Support
Alexis Smart Flower Essence – I’m taking GANESH at the moment.
Primeadine GF (a spermine supplement for longevity and cell renewal)

SAUNA RITUAL

We just got an at-home sauna from Heavenly Heat Saunas and I’m obsessed! It was a real manifestation for me. While it’s heating up, I open up my lymphatic drainage points by going on my vibration plate machine for 10 minutes and dry brushing with TSC’s dry brush. Inside the sauna, I either read or listen to a Mode The Method meditation. I do 30 minutes at 165 Degrees.

SHOWER RITUAL

After the sauna, I shower. A shower filter has become an absolute essential for me after moving around so much and seeing how different water quality affects my skin and hair. (I use the Pristine Hydro Ultimate Dual KDF Shower Filter.)

To turn my evening shower into a ritual: I dim the lights, light candles, and listen to Hertz frequencies, jazz, affirmation tracks, or the Emotional Release Shower Meditation from Mode The Method, depending on my mood.

BODY GUA SHA & SKINCARE

After showering, I do body gua sha and sculpt with Caudalie Vinosculpt Lift & Firm Body Cream and TSC’S Body Sculptor. I’m obsessed with lymphatic drainage. It helps reduce fluid retention, improves overall health and muscle soreness.

Then, I brush my teeth and do my skincare. A simple routine always works best for my skin. First, I oil cleanse with the Living Libations BSE range. Some nights I just reapply oil and leave it at that; other nights I layer:

Agent Nateur Holi Water
Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum
Clarins Double Serum
Avène Cicalfate + CreamFor oral care: I love Living Libations! Their triple mint toothpaste + oxygenated gum gel are staples for me.

SLEEP RITUALS

During the whole evening, I love to wear a beautiful robe or matching pajama set. (My favorites are from Cou Cou Intimates.)

RIGHT BEFORE BED

I turn on my Vital Red Light
Read until I’m sleepy
Put on my TSC mouth tape
Play an evening meditation to fall asleep
