Miley Cyrus is paying tribute to her younger self, and the fans who grew up by her side.

The 33-year-old Hannah Montana superstar is releasing a brand new song, out on Friday (March 27), coinciding with her Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special released earlier in the week on Disney+.

“Celebrating Hannah Montana isn’t just honoring a show it’s a full-circle moment for me. HM was the beginning of the life I know now. The bond my fans and I share is as rare and beautiful as this whole journey has been,” she explained of the song’s meaning.

“I adore you all and love you deeply. This anniversary special is a gift from me to younger you, my way of saying thank you for your loyalty and for growing with me every step of the way. This song says it all…”

“Somewhere along the way, we lost touch / We used to be so happy just because I know you had to go eventually / But don’t forget about me, don’t forget about me,” she sings.
