There have been speculations that Nick Newman and Sienna Bacall are on the journey to become one of the romantic pairs on The Young and the Restless. However, it’s not going to be that easy. While there is a romantic tension between the two characters, Sienna also had a brief relationship with Noah, Nick’s son. So, there are many hurdles for Nick and Sienna to overcome before they can actually become a couple.

But one thing that can move things quickly between the two is Nick’s drug addiction. Sienna could help him deal with his addiction, which could create an opportunity for their love story. Meanwhile, Tamara Braun, who portrays Sienna, has some interesting perspectives about the potential storyline.

During an interview with Soaps.com, the actress said, “It would make for an interesting triangle.” She also noted that people can have chemistry without being romantically involved, adding, “It can still become something really interesting.” She explained that it can feel as though you have met someone before, or that when you meet somebody for the first time, you instantly become best friends and wonder how you connect so well.

“So maybe that’s what [the audience] is feeling. But there is some chemistry,” the General Hospital alum shared.

Braun then addressed Nick’s drug addiction and how her character could help him overcome it. “She has some history with that, with her brother, who she loves, who had drug troubles,” she said. So, by helping Nick, the actress believes that Sienna might be able to get it right this time, even though she had not been able to with her brother before.

“I’m not writing this, but I think it would be beautiful,” the actress concluded.
