Brooke Combe has announced her second album, Too Late For Tears, due March 5, 2027, on Fontana Records. Alongside the announcement, the singer has released the single “Passing Faces” and unveiled her biggest headline tour to date, with dates across the UK and Europe.

The 11-track album was recorded live with Combe’s band at Kempston Studios in Liverpool, working with longtime collaborator James Skelly of The Coral. Combe described its influences as spanning several generations of British and American music: “It’s the spirit of soul, of ska, of Motown, Stax and 2-Tone,” she said. The record follows her 2025 debut, Dancing At The Edge Of The World, continuing her exploration of Northern Soul with a contemporary approach.

For “Passing Faces,” Combe set out to add a different mood to the material she had already written. “I wrote this one dead fast in the kitchen,” she said. While Danny worked upstairs on another album demo, she reviewed the songs to identify what was missing. “I needed something light-hearted, catchy, upbeat… I started playing my guitar and the chorus sort of wrote itself.” With the melody in place, she developed the lyrics, then experimented with opening organ lines. The addition of interlocking soul guitar parts helped complete the arrangement, which she described as “Pure mod.”

The 13-date headline tour begins March 11 at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom. UK stops include Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Southampton and Bristol, followed by London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on March 19 and Birmingham on March 20. The European leg opens at Amsterdam’s Paradiso on March 25, with further shows in Brussels, Paris and Cologne before the run concludes at Berlin’s Mikropol on March 30. Ticket presales begin October 21 at 10 a.m. BST, ahead of the general sale on October 23 at 10 a.m. BST.

The announcement comes during Combe’s European support run with Jalen N’gonda, following a summer of festival appearances. Her recent touring has also included North American support dates with Benson Boone and UK shows supporting Lionel Richie.
