Candace Cameron Bure is opening up about her decision to not return to The View.
In honor of the ABC daytime show’s milestone 30th season, former co-hosts have been invited back to the show for a special guest appearance.
The 50-year-old Full House actress – who served as a co-host of the show from 2015 to 2016 – was offered the opportunity to return to The View, but she had to decline for a good reason.

If you didn’t see, Candace‘s daughter Natasha Bure just welcomed her first child, daughter Winnie, with Bradley Steven Perry earlier this month.
“I didn’t want to be far away and miss anything, but I’m definitely open to it,” the conservative actress added.
As for the prospect of returning to The View, Candace admitted that she’s “still going to think about it.”
“Yeah, you might see me at the table. We’ll see,” she shared. “I feel open to it if they offer up another date.”

In the past, Candace has made it very clear that she has no plans on ever returning to the show, and the EW interviewer noted this change of tune to the Great American Family actress.
“True, true,” Candace responded. “I don’t know that I really want to do it, but I am open to it.”
“Listen, I just did Special Forces,” she added. “I could probably go on The View again.”
