When you're a mega-famous pop star like Chappell Roan, you can't always just run out to grab groceries or make a pit stop at Sephora without being recognized and surrounded by fans. Thus, stars often go incognito when they want to run errands, utilizing wigs and hats to help them blend in. (Never forget Paris Hilton's Disney trip in a black pigtail wig that could've come straight off the Wednesday set.) And blend in Roan definitely did, because she's practically unrecognizable in her undercover hairstyle.

The singer ditched her signature voluminous red curls in favor of a straight, strawberry blonde wig that made her look like anyone but the Grammy-winning singer of “Good Luck, Babe"—which was probably the point. Her hair was a cheerful bright copper blonde color, parted in the middle and styled straight—a major departure from those trademark curls. The reddish hair flowed down past her shoulders atop an oversized gray-and-red plaid scarf, and she alternated between a pair of eyeglasses and sunglasses to further blend in. Makeup-wise, she kept it low-key in just a bit of eyeliner and a rose-colored lipstick. Roan also skipped a manicure in favor of short, bare nails. You could walk right past her and never know she was the Chappell Roan! (Which is the entire point, of course.)
