The 47-year-old star stepped out alongside castmates Constance Wu, Tom Hopper, Gabriel Luna, and more at the show’s season 2 premiere at Metrograph on Tuesday night (October 20) in New York City.

Gabriel is a newcomer for season 2, joined by others like Dar Salim, Costa Ronin, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Yul Vazquez, who were also in attendance. Other show actors at the premiere included Martin Sensmeier, among others.

Is Taylor Kitsch in The Terminal List season 2?

Taylor Kitsch is also returning for the show’s second season, but was unable to be at the premiere. He shared an update on his Instagram Story wishing everyone the best and encouraging his fans to check out the new season when it debuts on Amazon on Wednesday, October 21.

Based on the Instagram Story, Taylor is still in the middle of doing construction for Howler’s Ridge, a non-profit nature-based recovery center in Bozeman, Montana, and thus unable to get back to New York for the event. He’s even wearing a Howler’s Ridge hat in the video.

The Terminal List season 2 premieres this month

Season 2 of the hit Amazon MGM Studios show arrives on October 21, 2026. Fans have been waiting a long time to see The Terminal List return to their screens, as season 1 actually premiered back in 2022.

What is The Terminal List season 2 about?

Here’s the official synopsis shared by Amazon.

This season comes from Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, where he puts “James Reece” on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. The psychological revenge thriller of Season One opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Joined by returning fan favorites like “Raife Hastings” (Tom Hopper), “Katie Buranek” (Constance Wu), “Mohammed Farooq” (Dar Salim), “Jules Landry” (Luke Hemsworth) and newcomers like “Freddy Strain” (Gabriel Luna), Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history.
