Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayEmma Stone has been rocking a pixie cut for *checks notes* two months now. She kicked off this award season with a (baby) bang when she stepped onto the red carpet at the Golden Globes in early January with the somewhat unexpected crop. That means the Academy Award winner is out of Pixie Stage 1 (getting used to the sensation of having a shockingly lighter head), has likely reckoned with Pixie Stage 2 (realizing that your hair can look entirely different from one week to the next), and catapulting into Pixie Stage 3 (having a damn good time).
The actress first styled her pixie cut with an effortlessly spiky quality that can only be achieved after at least 45 minutes in front of the mirror. But by Oscar Sunday she'd opted for a totally different look: a slicked-down side part with an old-Hollywood finger wave in the front. For someone who has had a pixie for less than one fiscal quarter, the willingness to play around with styling—not to mention the ability to pull it all off—is impressive.
