FKA twigs has shared a video for Eusexua song “Childlike Things,” enlisting Kevin Smith, influencer Jake Shane, and North West to star alongside her. Tony-winning playwright Jeremy O. Harris penned the script for the short, which depicts twigs as an impish idealist whirling through dance sequences in front of an unimpressed label executive (a baseball-capped Smith, who tells her to “hook up with a rapper” and “get the BPMs up” for a slot on the discovery playlists), before schooling him on the pursuit of the higher aims of art. (“My fans think I’m a deity,” she tells him, “so they don’t like it when I put rappers on my songs.”) North West shows up to deliver her guest verse, eventually winning Smith around.
