Romeo Beckham is making his acting debut in the upcoming French film Forty Love, and the trailer was just released!

The 24-year-old model and former soccer player stars alongside Paul Kircher as rival tennis players who develop a romance with each other.

What is Forty Love about?

Sacha Gallo (Kircher) is 21 years old and knows how to do only one thing: play tennis. Having been trained by his father his entire life, the two share a dream of winning their first major title in Paris. The arrival of a new rival (Beckham) shatters everything he thought he knew. Sacha must now face another challenge: love—an unexpected opponent, as powerful as it is formidable.

The trailer above also features a moment by Romeo that is a recreation of a past quote by tennis star Rafael Nadal talking about Roger Federer.

“I don’t want to sound like I want to be his boyfriend,” Romeo says in the movie.

Rafael originally made the comment during a press conference at the 2017 US Open after a reporter asked him what he admired the most about his rival, Roger Federer.

“I don’t want to look like I am, I want to be his boyfriend,” he said, followed by laughs from the reporters.

Who else stars in Forty Love?

Alongside Romeo and Paul, the upcoming French film also stars Guillaume Canet and Benjamin Voisin, with a special appearance by Catherine Deneuve.

Fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti makes his feature film directorial debut, with a script he wrote with Gaëlle Macé.

When does the movie come out?

Forty Love is set to hit French theaters on November 25, 2026. International release dates have not been revealed at this time.
