On September 17, Imagine Pediatrics announced it had raised $67 million in Series B funding. The Tennessee-based company is a pediatric medical group that delivers 24/7 virtual and in-home care for children with special healthcare needs.

The organization, founded in 2022, stated that funding will accelerate national expansion, enhance the company’s technology platform, and support clinical innovation aimed at closing persistent care gaps and increasing access to specialized pediatric care for children with special healthcare needs.

“Currently, the company operates in Texas, Florida, and Washington, D.C. As early as 2026, the company will begin expanding into 12 additional states,” Ashleigh Hollowell with Behavioral Health Business reported.

By forming value-based partnerships with health plans, Imagine Pediatrics has reached nearly 300,000 patient encounters in just two years, the company stated in its press release. This has reduced the need for emergency department visits and unnecessary hospital admissions, saving partners over $65 million in 2024.

Participants in the round include existing investors Oak HC/FT, Optum Ventures, and Rubicon Founders, along with new strategic investment from the Autism Impact Fund (AIF) and others.
