Jacob Elordi has been tapped for a special project.

It was recently revealed that the 29-year-old actor will be narrating the audiobook for the late Eric Dane‘s upcoming posthumous memoir, “My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments.”

The two actors, of course, played father and son, Nate and Cal Jacobs, across three seasons of the hit HBO series Euphoria.

The memoir’s publisher, Penguin Random House, also lists Maria Shriver as a narrator for the audiobook. Her imprint, The Open Field, is releasing the book.

According to Entertainment Weekly, a rep for the book publisher has revealed that Jacob will read a majority of the memoir, while Maria will read the “Dear Reader” chapter, which she wrote.

In an interview with TooFab while promoting his show Countdown, Eric shared his appreciation for Jacob.

“Jacob and I have a pretty profound amount of respect for each other off set,” he said. “He’s a really great person. And he’s a lot of fun to work with. He’s a super committed actor, which allows us to sort of talk craft here and there. And we love doing that. It’s just a great time working with him.”

Following Eric‘s death in February 2026, Maria paid tribute to the actor and shared she was honored he chose her publishing imprint for his memoir.

“I was honored he chose my publishing imprint to publish his memoir. He told me he wanted his family to know how much he loved them, and he wanted to leave them a story they could be proud of. My love goes out to his family, and to all those battling this cruel disease, as well as all those caring for [someone] battling it,” she wrote.
