Jodie Sweetin is sharing a new health update on Dave Coulier.

For the past two years, the 67-year-old Full House actor has been struggling with his health after back-to-back diagnoses of stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma and tongue cancer.

In a new interview with People, Dave‘s “niece” Jodie, 44, provided a new update on how he is doing these days.

“He’s doing great,” Jodie shared, adding that she and fellow co-star Andrea Barber recently spent a weekend at Dave‘s home in Detroit and they all attended an arts fundraiser together.

“We’re still super close,” Jodie noted. “We’re like obnoxiously annoyingly close.”

If you don’t know, Dave was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in November 2024. In March of last year, he confirmed that a biopsy showed that he was cancer-free, five months after his initial diagnosis.

Then, in December of 2025, he revealed doctors found P16 squamous carcinoma in his tongue and had to undergo radiation. This past February, Dave shared the good news that he is in remission from both of his cancers.

After seeing Dave endure “such a tough battle,” Jodie said that “sitting around and having coffee with him in the morning meant so much.”
